Spreading by underground stolons, it favours riverbanks, lakeshores and sandy areas. Young branches are red-brown & hairy at first. Becomes brown to gray and smooth as it ages.
Highest level of disease resistance. Needs no spraying. Flowers vary from blush pink to butter yellow to creamy white. Blooms from mid-summer to fall. Good for m ass plantings.
Tall upright deciduous shrub with bright green leaves and striking golden yellow, single rose-like flowers. Likes full sun and well-drained soil. Prune previous years growth by half in April.
